Lumedica launched its newest product at SPIE’s BIOS / Photonics West 2019, the OQ LabScope 2.0. It may look similar to the performance of the 1.0 generation OCT device, but beneath its blue chassis is an all-new light engine that delivers 80,000 lines per second — a substantial upgrade from the 15,000 in our inaugural product. At 80,000 lines, the OQ LabScope 2.0 generates over 100 frames per second, which translates into a more accurate, stable OCT image. The OQ LabScope series will now be offered with different specifications of speed (/X) and resolution (/R) to meet different scientific and research needs.
