We are headed to San Francisco for the first in-person conference since 2020. SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, has taken precautions to build a safe and productive event. Many Lumedica team members will share their research with the optics community. Dr. Adam Wax, CEO of Lumedica and Editor-in-Chief of SPIE Journal Optical Engineering, is a conference chair for conference 11971, “Biomedical Applications of Light Scattering XII.” Session one will run from 8:20 AM to 10:00 PM PST and covers clinical applications of light scattering techniques. Evan Jelly, consultant for Lumedica, will discuss the nature of deep imaging Dual-Axis OCT and a handheld device proposed for use in dermatology. His talk will be on Saturday, January 22 in Room 101 (Level 1 South Lobby) from 11:20 – 11:40 AM. Updated details can be found here.
